AWGIE Nominees for 2010
Two new Australian musicals have been nominated in this years AWGIE awards, Tracey Harvey and Doug Macleoad’s CALL GIRL THE MUSICAL and Sue Smith’s REMBRANDT’S WIFE. AWGIE’s are the annual awards given by the Australian Writers Guild, awarded for excellence in the written word. AWG President Tim Pye says: “Every year, the AWGIE Awards recognise and reward the best of Australia’s performance writers for their contribution to the screen and theatre industries.” The 43rd AWGIE Awards will take place in Melbourne on Friday 20th August.
